Our beautiful camp is part of Utheim Gård and has had guests and English anglers visiting since the 1920s. After World War II, it was mainly Danish anglers who were accommodated during the salmon season. Namsen Fishing Camp as it stands today was established in the late 1960s and has since been upgraded to today's standard. The farm and campsite are now run by the fourth generation: Anlaug Sellæg Asbøll.

Namsen Fishing Camp has a unique location with space for 50 guests and is built right down to the shore. The camp consists of cabins, houses, administration buildings, a wooden lavvo and a pier. High season is the salmon season and extends from June 1 to August 31, but we also rent out for shorter and longer periods outside of high season. In high season we can offer salmon fishing from boat and land on some of the best fjords in Namsen, or you can take advantage of some of our good and easily accessible land-fishing spots, hiking terrain and hunting opportunities.

If you want to rent a party room, you can try our lavvo with its cozy atmosphere that can accommodate up to 35 people and is fully equipped and perfect for ordering catering. Courses and conferences are also a great opportunity, with good arrangements by our team and partners. Namsen Fishing Camp is located 20 km east of the cultural city of Namsos and 30 km from Bjørgan/Grong, ski resorts and hiking opportunities. The nearest grocery store/pharmacy can be found in Overhalla Sentrum, just 7 km away.

We have three beautiful large cabins, with 3-4 bedrooms, bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, living room, made beds, TV, Wifi. Three smaller cabins by the river with space for up to 4 people and 1-2 bedrooms and all amenities. We can also offer cabins with a simpler standard; bunk beds (made), table with 4 chairs, cooking facilities/fridge and cold running water.
